FEATURES
BODY: The body of the carriage unit is
made of pressed steel and is fitted with precision, durable and heat
resisting components for trouble free service. The body is painted after
special treatment in Golden Yellow colour.
DRIVE:
The drive consists of a high performance universal type 1/20 HP, AC/DC
motor for 220/240 Volts, 50 Hz of electric supply. The motor is mounted
with a compact gear box of ratio 1:288. It has a facility of forward
and reverse operation. The motor is dynamically balanced.
CONTROL:
Forward/Off/Reverse type switch is located below the speed control knobs
for easy and quick operation. The speed can be varied from 80 to 800
mm/min. to suit the nature of cutting. Speed-Pressure-Nozzle selection
and control data for various plate thickness is printed on the machine
itself for quick reference. The speed of the machine can also be increased
or decreased while cutting is in progress, this feature is very advantageous
when starting and finishing the cut.
TORCH:
Specially designed heavy duty Injector type Cutting Torch to prevent
backfire. It works on Oxygen and acetylene or LPG with appropriate cutting
nozzles.
TORCH
HOLDER ASSEMBLY:
This enables verticaly and horizontal movement of the torch. Adjustment
for bevel cutting from 0° to 45° can also be easily made. The system
is simple and convenient. The adjustment can also be made while the
machine is in motion.
CIRCLE
CUTTING ATTACHMENT:
It consists of a radius bar, and weight block with a centre. It can
be fixed from either side of the machine. For circle cutting the swivel
wheel has to be unlocked. The machine can cut from 75mm to 1200 mm diameters.
RAIL TRACK:
The machine runs on an extruded aluminium track of 1.8 metres length.
